What are the advantages of studying at Mkhitar Sebastatsi EduComplex

Studying at Mkhitar Sebastatsi EduComplex offers several great advantages that make our learning experience both enjoyable and enriching. One of the best things about our school is how we make use of computers. We’re using technology to explore a whole world of knowledge and information. This means we’re not just memorizing facts, but we’re learning how to think critically and form our own opinions. It’s like we’re preparing for the future, where knowing how to use technology is super important.

Another fantastic thing about our school is the opportunities we get to go on trips and camps. These aren’t just ordinary outings; they’re chances for us to learn outside of the classroom. When we go on trips, we’re visiting new places in Armenia, new things, making new friends and making unforgettable memories. It’s like stepping into a whole new world! Plus, these trips teach us important life skills, like how to work as a team, be resilient, adapt to new situations and much more.

So, in a nutshell, Mkhitar Sebastatsi EduComplex is awesome because it’s not just about what happens in the classroom. It’s about preparing us for whatever the future may hold, all while having a great time with our friends along the way.

Your school trips

My last school trip was a few months back, and it took us to Arates. These trips are something I always look forward to because they give me the chance to spend more quality time with my friends. Arates was like a winter wonderland, completely covered in snow. We had an absolute blast playing in it — building snow forts, having epic snowball fights, and even attempting to make the biggest snowman possible.

One particular memory that still makes me laugh happened when we decided to play a prank on one of our friends. We thought it would be hilarious to wake them up by gently placing a handful of snow in their sleeping bag. The look of confusion and then laughter on their face was priceless, and it’s something we still joke about to this day.

But beyond the laughter and fun, there was something truly special about just being together in that snowy landscape. Walking through the snow-covered trails, chatting and laughing with my friends, created a sense of warmth and belonging that I’ll always treasure. These trips hold so many cherished memories, making them an essential part of my school experience.

If you could change one important thing in your country, what would you change

What I’d want to change in my country isn’t just what the government does, but how the people approach to it. I’m not happy with how quickly people follow popular ideas without thinking, I think we need to be less quick-tempered. We should question things, understand our problems better solve them, and find ways to work together for a better future. That’s what I believe will really make a difference.

However, the main critical problems aren’t only with the general public’s ideas but also with the political figures trying to fill their pockets and quickly run away, which simply amounts to corruption. The main way to escape that problem would be changing the government’s inability to create genuinely helpful policies that would not divide us from each other but only bring us closer. We need leaders who prioritize the well-being of the nation over personal gain, who are committed to fostering unity and implementing policies that benefit all citizens, rather than a select few.

Do we live to work or work to live

The idea that life is just about either working to live or living to work feels too limited. Nowadays, with different job options and flexible work arrangements, there’s more to it. For me, neither extreme fits perfectly. While work is important for financials and contributing to society, I don’t think that work has to control my whole life. I believe in finding a balance. It’s about having a job that’s meaningful and also enjoying life beyond work.

I think it’s possible to find fulfillment in both work and personal life without sacrificing one for the other. It’s not about choosing between just surviving or making work everything—it’s about finding harmony between them. So, I don’t buy into the idea that we must either work to survive or live only for work.

Instead, I prefer to work to work and live to live.

My favorite elective school subject

I’ve chosen Italian and astronomy as my elective subjects because they really interest me, even though they might not directly relate to my future job. These subjects are personally important and offer more than just academic or career benefits. For example, while I might not need Italian or astronomy for my career, they can greatly enrich my life in other ways. As someone who loves traveling and dreams of visiting Italy, learning Italian would help me connect deeply with the culture and people there. And my interest in astronomy goes beyond just learning about space; it brings me a sense of peace and wonder, especially when I gaze at the night sky. So, even though Italian and astronomy might not be essential for my job, they mean a lot to me for personal growth, cultural exploration, and finding beauty in the world.
